Privacy Policy

Who we are

True North Property Maintenance ("True North", "we", "us") is a locally owned property maintenance business in London, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information shared with us through this website (truenorthpmldn.com), by phone, by text message or by email.

Information you choose to give us

We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, for example when you fill out our quote request form or contact us directly. This may include:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your property address and postal code
• Property and service information, such as your preferred service plan, the services you need, your driveway size and any notes you add

Please don't include sensitive information (such as banking details or health information) in the quote form.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide primarily to:

• Prepare quotes for snow removal and property maintenance services at your property
• Communicate with you about your quote request, your questions and your service
• Administer service, including service agreements, route planning, scheduling, billing and record keeping

We will not use your information for unrelated purposes without asking you first.

Consent

By submitting the quote form or contacting us, you consent to us using your information for the purposes described above — preparing the quote you asked for, contacting you about that request, and communicating with you about the service you receive. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, although this may affect our ability to provide a quote or service.

We do not send promotional or marketing messages on the basis of a quote request. If we ever offer marketing messages, they will be opt-in and separate from this.

How your information is shared

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as needed for the purposes above. For example:

• This website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores quote form submissions on our behalf.
• We use an email provider to send and receive messages about your quote and service.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. As with most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the website securely. The website's fonts are provided by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to send the font files to your browser.

Where information is stored

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside of Canada, including in the United States. Information stored in another country may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing service and keeping reasonable business and tax records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or securely dispose of it.
